So Exactly How Do You Profit from This?

You can pass on the rental fees for the sticks to attendees via registration fees either to just cover the costs or to profit from them.

You can pass on the rental costs of the Mingle Stations to exhibitors and speakers again to cover or profit from them.

You have the potential to seek branding sponsorship for the sticks from which all the profit (after our low set up costs) would go to yourself.

On the site page there are 5 banners, 4 of them are rotational, 1 viral, that you can sell sponsorship for.

You have full say on how much you charge for all the above so the amount of profit you earn is directly proportionate to the value of your show.

As a guide for a 5000 attendee, 300 exhibitor show charging a reasonable amount for the Minglesticks (£10) and the Mingle Stations (£150) you would stand to make a profit just from these two items of some £45,000. Add to that the potential earnings from branding of the Minglesticks and the banners from the site and you can see that your profits could be very nice indeed.

There are various ways to cover and exceed the costs associated with implementing our solutions and we will work with you to discover the more beneficial ones for your particular needs.

Either way, people using our solutions a have a great time, give great feedback, get excellent results and actively seek to re-book for next year.

How it all comes together Minglesticks and Attendees

Pre Show

6 months prior to the show, you would email us a registered attendee list which we would then load into the Mingle Manger account. We would supply emails that you or we can send to your attendees explaining that your show is to use the Mingle solutions, the benefits of this for them and what they need to do (very little).

At some point preferably prior to the show, your attendees would log into their Mingle accounts, put in any more information and upload a facial photo for later recognition and networking purposes. This simple process takes less than 3 minutes and can be done at the show if necessary.

At regularly points thereafter we would also ask for any new registrations to be advised to us so we get as many people set up before the show as we can, this just saves them time at the show.

Minglestick 360

All the time we would be assisting with marketing the show and the fact it is utilising the Mingle solutions.

We would ideally require a booth, next to registration for ease of use for attendees, so we can service all their needs and they have somewhere to return to to update their records and download their contacts.

Day of show

We will be all set up and raring to go waiting for the doors to open.

As the attendees arrive, they will be shown to our booth, checked in via their account or have one set up for them in a matter of minutes, have a facial picture taken and uploaded if not already done, allocated a Minglestick and given a simple demonstration and booklet explaining how to use it. It really is as easy as point and click.

Then off they go to meet up with each other and the exhibitors whilst we are there to help anyone with any issues such as downloading their contacts, putting helpful notes on the accounts to remind them of the conversations they’ve just had.

As the attendees leave, they hand their sticks back to us at our booth, they can add any notes they want to, then when they are all done we log them out.

If the show lasts more than one day we will still collect the sticks at the end of each day unless there is an evening networking session arranged, then we will trust the attendees to return the sticks to us at the end of the next day.

Post Show

24 hours after the show ends, each attendee would receive an email form us with a log in password to their account relevant to that show so they can go in and see the contacts they made together with the notes they added. At the same time people also have the opportunity to withhold any information that they are unwilling to share with individuals and/or the whole list of their contacts.

No need to sift through hundreds of business cards. No desperately trying to remember whether that card was from the guy with the beard or the one with the loud tie. No need to spend way too long updating your database. This is all done for you automatically with the click of a button.

Then they are free to network further on and offline with these new contacts and develop long term relationships .

Benefits to event organiser

Each stick can be temporarily branded ensuring the sponsors name is on show to each and every person at the show as the sticks will be out on show a lot. This is a highly lucrative method of monetisation for you and great exposure for the sponsors.

Mingle Stations and Exhibitors

Ideally each exhibitor would have a Mingle Station at their booth.

It is a compact, unassuming piece, running on battery or power so with great flexibility as to where positioned, the best place would be at the front of the booth allowing attendees to make easy contact with the exhibitor and vice versa.

On the exhibitors account, they are able to upload any promotional materials and catalogues etc that they would normally hand to the attendees, this allows the attendees to collect much more than they would normally be prepared to carry, so giving each exhibitor a greater chance of making a solid contact.

The green ecological aspect of this alone is an enormously potential benefit and a great angle to approach PR for the show. The amount of paper saved would be tremendous.

So when an attendee comes to the exhibitors booth, if staff are available obviously they can have some conversations and then invite the attendee to connect with them via the Mingle Station. That way the exhibitor will have the contact details and facial recognition of the attendee, who in turn can then later download any promotional materials they are interested in. So if at a later time or date the exhibitors see the attendee again, they can have an easy way to remember them and so build a stronger relationship.

Mingle Station

If the booth staff are busy, if the attendee is in a hurry but still wants to connect or if the attendee is not willing to have a discussion in front of others, then the Mingle Station can really come in very handy, as the attendee can simply point and click their own Minglestick at the Mingle Station, connect each way with the exhibitor, and move on.

The attendee is happy as they’ve still got the connection and can find out more at their leisure. The exhibitor is happy as they now have contact details of a targeted lead that they’d likely not have obtained had it not been for having a Mingle Station at their booth.

A great way of truly utilising the power of Mingle Station is to consider having a Station for each product or brand line. Say the exhibitor has 5 different classes of wine they are promoting, by placing a Station next to each bottle, the attendees can click only the relevant one/s that they like and this will then show up on the exhibitors records.

The exhibitor has the ability, via their own laptop/s , to see live real time statistics of contacts made so seeing how successful or not their shows campaign is and whether they may need to alter their approach. This can also be fed back to their base office where key decision makers can see the stats and forward their advices back to the booth staff to maybe focus on certain products, drop others completely etc etc.

Also, the exhibitors can make their press releases available to the press core present at the show as a direct download erady for publication rather than the press people having to gather loads of hard copies.

Again this would save time, money and paper. A highly topical issue at present in this industry, and you and your shows would be taking a lead in the green issues.

Mingle Stations and Seminar Speakers

Just as the exhibitors can connect with potential new leads, so can the speakers at your seminars you may hold at the shows.

How useful would it be for them to have a list of all the people that attended their presentation?

How beneficial would it be for them to be able to directly offer those present and those that couldn’t make it but still connected with the speakers, an opportunity to download some of their information ,to start to see the levels of their knowledge and how building a relationship with them could really add value to the attendees life/business?

All these contacts would be highly targeted leads the speaker could then connect with and grow their business through.

How it all works - Mingle Manager and all present at show

Mingle Manager is our workhorse. It’s where all the real action takes place, where all the new connections are developed into fruitful relationships and where the sponsors can get some really great exposure.

During the show the attendees can visit their temporary account to update details and add notes to any contacts made.

Post show after they’ve uploaded all their contacts and activated them via the password we will send them (24 hours after the show ends), they can determine who receives what personal details.

Mingle Manager

Then they can connect with each other using the integrated message centre and download the details into various databases, Facebook, Linked-In, Outlook etc.

Each shows individual web pages will remain live for 6 months after the end of the show and the contacts made at that particular show will remain visible (providing the person in question chooses to leave them live) to all others who they connected with at that show.

As time goes on and more shows are attended by the individuals and covered by Mingle, the peoples contact lists will grow. People can be referred on to peoples websites, meetings can be arranged etc.

Anytime someone updates their personal details, whether it be a change of phone number, email address etc, those details are automatically updated in each of their contacts records too so there is no need to tell everyone you have changed some details, the Mingle Manager programme will automatically do that for you.

Users can also categorise their contacts using powerful address book functions and folders and sub folders, making for easier recollection of contacts details.

Each individual will have a viral banner that is ‘attached’ to their account. That banner will be the main sponsor of the first show they attended with Mingle running and will follow them through all the other shows they attend and will be viewable and clickable by all the contacts they make at any of the Mingle supported shows they attend.

The other 6 banners are rotational, so can have more than one sponsor per banner, and apply only to this particular show and will be visible for the 6 months that that particular web page is live (6 months after end of show)
